Welcome
Congratulations on your decision to celebrate your love and commitment to
one another through the Ceremony of Marriage.
We are
committed to assisting and supporting you in the design, creation, and
fulfillment of your unique, customized and personalized wedding ceremony,
while embracing and respecting all of the diverse and beautiful spiritual
practices that enrich our world.
Your wedding
should reflect, express and honor your relationship, spiritual
orientation, beliefs, customs, cultures and backgrounds, whatever they may
be without judgment, criticism, or reservations.
There is no
requirement for premarital counseling.
Fees range
from $375.00~$750.00
Fees are
based upon location, length of wedding, and whether our presence at a
rehearsal is requested.
Location
is the largest determining factor, so please include that information when inquiring.
Listed below is a general
outline of the process:
Upon contact, one of us will
either send you a packet of information and/or set up a time to meet with
you and discuss your needs.
You will be given a ceremony
packet that includes many selections for each part of your ceremony
including vows, rituals, readings, ring blessings and exchanges, and so
forth. This is the body of material from which we co-create your unique
ceremony, although you are in no way confined to these materials, and may
have anything you want from wherever you want! We are both completely
flexible and open, and sincerely desire that the final ceremony is exactly
as you desire it to be.
If you decide that you would
like either Reverend Chris or Reverend Bill to officiate your ceremony for
you, a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date and
time.
Once you have made your
ceremony selections, a rough draft is drawn up and emailed to you for any
changes, corrections, additions or deletions you would like to make. Upon
your approval, the ceremony copies are then printed out.
Two weeks prior to the
ceremony date, the balance of the fee and the marriage license are due to
be received by whoever is officiating for you.
After the ceremony, your
officiant will fill out and sign all three copies of the marriage license,
presenting one copy to you and returning the appropriate copy to the Clerk
of the Circuit Court in the county your ceremony was conducted in. This
relieves you of any post-ceremony legal concerns.
